My current role is Senior Chairman of Aquinas Corporation, a holding company for Linbeck, Theater Square, Next Step Footcare, and Alpha Dev.

My father, Leo E. Linbeck, Sr., founded Linbeck Group in 1938. I joined the firm in 1956 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. I spent ten years in field and office positions before being elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Linbeck in 1966 and Chairman in 1975.I was named President/CEO of the holding company in 1979 and Chairman in 1990.

I am a life director of the Associated General Contractors of America and a director of the MD Anderson Foundation. I am also currently serving as Senior Chairman of Texans for Lawsuit Reform, a volunteer organization dedicated to reforming the civil justice system in the State of Texas. In addition, I am Chairman and Co-Founder of Americans for Fair Taxation, a national organization advocating the abolishment of the entire federal income tax system and replacement with the FairTax.

I have served as past Chairman and Director, Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and former Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-Houston Branch. I am a former Director of The Bionomics Institute, Daniel Industries, Inc., GeoQuest International Holdings, Inc., International Systems & Controls, John Hancock Advisers, Inc., MorningStar Foods Inc., The Southland Corporation, and Duke Energy Corporation.

I served as Chairman and member of the Advisory Council for the College of Engineering, University of Notre Dame, and am a former member of the Institutional Initiatives Committee of the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. I also served as Chairman, Special Commission on the 1999 Bonfire, Texas A & M University.

My wife, Constance Baird Linbeck, died in January of 2001. I am now married to Bette Craddock Linbeck. I am a proud father of six children and eighteen grandchildren. My personal passions include reading, golfing, and bird hunting.

Over his 54 years with Linbeck, Leo has completed countless projects.
