CoCathedral of the Sacred Heart; Houston, Texas
Architect: Ziegler Cooper

The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart pays homage to the traditions of the past even as it serves as a foundation for the future.

In initiating this project, Bishop Fiorenza desired to provide a cathedral for the ages--a cathedral deep in both spiritual and artistic expression that would invite people to a spirit of praise and worship to the majesty of a loving God.

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth; Ft. Worth, Texas
Architect: Tadao Ando, Japan

Winner of the 2003 AON Build America Award

Linbeck worked with consultants and the museum’s foundation for more than a year as the cost and construction consultant, providing analysis of materials, structural systems, schedules and impact of schedules on costs, and is responsible for every detail of construction except for building the furniture and installing the security system.

This magnificent museum took 3 years of painstaking construction to become what Architect Tadao Ando called, “one of the best finished buildings you can get today.

Crystal Bridges; Bentonville, AR
Architect: Moshe Safdie

Crystal Bridges is both museum and culture center--a campus within crystal ponds. Two structures which are both dams and bridges, are placed across a ravine forming two great ponds. Additional structures are nestled into the steeply sloping terrain on either side, containing galleries, classrooms, a library, curatorial and administrative offices, and a 250-seat auditorium.

The design aims to enhance and protect the natural beauty of the site, and to achieve a high level of sustainability in the use of construction materials and methods, maximizing reliance on daylight and water and flood management.

Reliant Stadium; Houston, Texas
Architect: HOK Sport and Hermes Reed Architects

Envisioned as a world class, state of the art, multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility. With a translucent fiber glass fabric covered retractable roof, the facility could be used as an open-air facility or as an enclosed climate controlled facility.

The home of the Houston Texans and Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the stadium is host to other sporting events, family shows, and concerts.
