Overview
In 1980, Linbeck completed a full renovation and restoration for the historic Mansion on Turtle Creek, transforming the once private mansion into the flagship location for the Rosewood Hotels. Built in 1925, the building was in extreme disrepair and on the brink of demolition. To bring the building back to its former state, Linbeck extensively reworked the interior, including wood paneled ceilings, marble fireplaces, and HVAC systems. To craft the mansion into a hotel, the team built an adjacent 159-room luxury tower and an accompanying restaurant, opened by the then 21 Club of New York. Today the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek operates as one of Dallas’ finest hotel destinations.
