Overview
Evelyn’s Park is located on a five acre lot where the historic Teas Nursery once stood. Made up of two different areas, the property consists of two shade structures, a memorial garden, event hall, park offices, and restroom pavilion. The park also includes a fountain water feature, donor grove, playground, three grass lawns, and Betsy’s restaurant, a cafe modeled and rebuilt to mirror a Texas Historical home from the original property. In addition to building the new park elements, the Evelyn’s Park project also incorporated more than 300 trees into the property, donated and planted by Trees For Houston.
