Overview
The Southside Elementary and New Home Office Building project was completed over three phases and included the conversion of an existing office space into a new elementary school. The ground-up construction of a two-story, pre-engineered metal office building, and the completion of a civil package to add utilities for the office building and deliver an all new Contech underground detention system. Built to enhance campus drainage, the Contech system is located below the refreshed soccer field and contains corrugated steel piping measuring 90” in diameter. Linbeck encountered various scheduling challenges during the project that required extra coordination efforts from the project team. In spite of these challenges, Linbeck was still able to deliver the Southside Elementary and New Home Office Building on time and on budget.
