Description

Maverick Hall is a five-story, 654-bed residence hall that addressed critical housing needs for the University of Texas at Arlington’s response to notable rise in freshman enrollment and a growing demand for on-campus housing. This design-build project stands as the University’s largest and tallest student residence and represents a remarkable achievement in accelerated delivery, innovative construction techniques, and collaborative problem-solving under extraordinary circumstances. This project was built on a fast-track 15-month timeline and redefined the residential experience at UTA to offer state of the art accomodations. Maverick Hall features a mixture of single-, double-, and triple-occupancy suites, all with private restrooms. Common area amenities include classrooms, study rooms, laundry facilities, centralized gathering spaces, community kitchens on each floor, and outdoor gathering spaces. The exterior composition of brick, metal panels, fiber cement siding, and glazed wall systems complements the existing campus architecture while establishing a contemporary residential identity.
