Overview

Utilizing the design-build delivery method, Linbeck worked with HDR to design and construct a new four-story outpatient Ambulatory Care Facility to provide high quality, comprehensive cancer treatment in a neighborhood setting. The Ambulatory Care Facility provides radiation oncology, medical oncology, infusion therapy services, future diagnostic imaging space, linear accelerator (LINAC) and includes a USP 800 compounding pharmacy and ISO7 cleanroom. Originally planned to encompass 135,000 SF, the four-story healthcare facility was expanded during preconstruction to include an additional 60,000 SF. Despite the expansion, however, the 24-month construction schedule remained the same. Linbeck fast-tracked the schedule, creating a new phased bid package delivery system to help keep the project on track.
