Overview
Linbeck completed interior build-outs for two laboratories inside Baylor College of Medicine’s (BCM) DeBakey Center. Located on Levels 5 and 6 of the healthcare facility, the build-outs created new, fully equipped multi-purpose lab spaces for hospital research. On Level 5, Linbeck added a new walk in storage cooler, one equipment
sterilizer, four fume hoods, two snorkels, and ten lab benches. On Level 6, six new equipment rooms, a new sterilizer, a walk-in cold room, and nine administrative offices complete the space, making it ready for hospital staff and researchers to conduct their daily work safely and effectively. In addition to the building components themselves, Levels 5 and 6 are examples of high design and carry on BCM’s standard of excellence. They are bright and sleek, drawing upon the surrounding interior windows to create an abundance of natural lighting.
