Overview
The In/Outpatient Pharmacy and Compounding Suite renovation at Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital expanded the existing inpatient pharmacy, incorporated a new USP 800 Pharmacy and ISO7 cleanroom, and built-out existing shell space to make room for a new outpatient pharmacy. The outpatient pharmacy houses a work space, queuing area, and waiting room. In addition to the pharmacies and associated spaces, the hospital project also added a new demonstration kitchen, conference room, break room, and Food Farmacy, an onsite grocery store that helps patients overcome food insecurities.
