Overview
Located five miles east of the Texas Medical Center, the once outdated Quentin Mease Hospital has been dramatically transformed into an updated and modern outpatient facility that is better equipped to serve its neighboring community. As part of the two-year project, Linbeck renovated four floors and the basement, added a 1,400 SF dialysis equipment room, redid the roofing, and performed significant rework to the infrastructure. Linbeck also relocated the nearby Thomas Street Health Center (HIV primary care clinic) and Riverside Dialysis Center into the building. Today, the rededicated Quentin Mease Health Center boasts new exam rooms, clinic and administrative spaces, and updated MEP systems, including new energy recovery units (ERUs) that provide greater energy efficiency.
