Overview

The Sid Richardson Museum has one of the most significant collections of Frederick Remington and Charles M. Russell artwork in the United States. Opened in 1982, the museum and its collections are housed within an historic Sundance Square building dating back to 1895. It was this historic component that guided Linbeck’s careful renovation efforts throughout the project. An immediate feature of the renovated building is its updated facade, which have given the building an overall face lift and upgrade; the first level street facade included column wraps ornamented with bronze brass buffalo medallions. Within the building, Linbeck completely removed existing interiors, elevators, and mechanical and electrical systems and incorporated a host of new systems and features, including a roof, interior finishes, mechanical and electrical systems, fire protection systems, and passenger and freight elevators.
