Overview
Smart Financial Centre (Smart Financial) is a state-of-the-art concert, performing arts, and entertainment venue that includes an outdoor plaza, parking, kitchen area, and marquee. One of the most recognizable features of Smart Financial is its iconic bowl-shaped design and glass-enclosed lobby. Achieved by constructing separate interior and exterior bowls, each section of the bowl was made up of a grid pattern of control joints, and both sections display 100+ LED accent lights, customizable to each performance. Smart Financial was also conceived and designed for flexibility. Inside, the theater houses Audience Reduction System walls that can expand or contract to create four different seating capacities. The type of system used was the first of its kind in the United States and one of the first in the world.
